🎤 Week 2 – A Nice Dry Run
Another busy night here at the start of the season. A steady flow of fun people. Singing some great tunes. Including Tony, with his cool Buble & Deano (Sounds a lot like him). Then there was Tim, who sang several duets by himself with an impressive Falsetto voice. Also, manage my Kate Bush – Wuthering Heights Challenge.
🎤 Week 1 – Opening Night! Friday 27th April 2025
The Finas Hotel Pefkos, our 1st night of the summer season in 2025. A fantastic night of music and Karaoke. Despite the earlier storm. Hitting the area within minutes. Hardly any warning. Causing serious flooding and mudslides. This destroyed the pool and the surrounding area. Also cause chaos with the electrics and communication systems.
Professional & Dedicated Staff
However, the wonderful staff and management mythologically formed a clever strategy to get everything up and running. Emptying the pool with pumps, using the water to clean away the debris. Shutting the pool filters, pumps off. This stopped any serious damage. Ordering the 6 water bowsers that night to deliver first thing in the morning. Managing to get it fully functioning within 24 hrs.
This was quite a clever strategy. Looking after the customers as they always do. The reason why it’s an honour to work here. Every Friday from 8.30 (Maybe 9) In the bar area. You can book your holiday here via Jet 2
Pete Jackson’s Music & Karaoke Shows
This year I will be starting arout 8.30 – 9 PM and finished at 12.00. I realise that the word “Karaoke” sometimes brigs a sharp intake of dread to some folk. The same way that I yawn & look at my watch when someone mentions “football”. However I am prepared to give that person’s conversation a chance. I ask you to do the same.
